
Sarah Plewa
Sarah Plewa is an educational leader and advocate dedicated to supporting children, families, and communities with compassion, clarity, and purpose. With extensive experience in special education, intervention systems, and instructional coaching, she has built her career around helping individuals access the tools, resources, and support they need to thrive. Known for her collaborative approach, Sarah excels at building strong relationships, navigating complex needs, and fostering environments where learning, safety, and empowerment remain at the center.
Throughout her career, Sarah has partnered closely with families, multidisciplinary teams, and community members to ensure individuals receive equitable, strengths-based support. She is passionate about creating systems that honor the dignity of every person and believes wholeheartedly in the power of education, understanding, and advocacy to change lives.
Sarah is currently pursuing her Master of Education in Educational Leadership at Grand Valley State University, further expanding her leadership capacity and commitment to service. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and her German Shepherd–Malamute rescue, Hermes, her gentle and loyal companion. Sarah is an avid reader and loves relaxing with board games, video games, and tennis—whether playing together at home or watching the pros compete at major tournaments and Opens.
Sarah is honored to serve on the Board of Directors for On The Wings of Angels and is devoted to advancing its mission of empowering survivors through advocacy, education, and compassionate community support.
