On the Wings of Angels, a community united in our mission to empower those adversely affected by domestic abuse. We offer a safe space to connect with like-minded individuals and receive support and guidance.
We invest in the future of our community members and actively work to create positive and progressive change. We welcome all genders, nationalities and creeds and do not tolerate any hate or forms of discrimination.
By joining forces, we can overcome societal barriers and build a society founded on equality and respect. Take action and donate today!
Humans who have been abused are on the one hand not trusting of anyone as they get out, and at the same time are super gullible or willing to trust anyone with a helping hand, only to get sucked into another narcissistic relationship. We want this to be known as a super safe space where trustworthy, vetted individuals are serving the humans coming to us.
If you are in the middle of a toxic situation, please fill out our support survey. We look forward to becoming a part of your Team as you remove yourself from toxicity. We offer services, support, and community. Your information will not be shared with anyone outside the safe members of our board and whatever services you need from us.
“I survived sexual, physical, verbal, and emotional abuse from my father and brother from childhood until age 29. To outsiders, we looked like the perfect family – religious, successful, well-traveled. Behind closed doors, the reality was very different. My mother, a domestic violence victim herself, couldn’t protect us six children. My father’s control extended to forcing me to end my relationship with my childhood sweetheart.
After escaping, I reconnected with that same love through Match.com. We eloped on Valentine’s Day 2012 and now have two children and a wonderful life together.
During those dark years, I promised myself I would one day escape and help other abuse survivors do the same. That’s why I founded On The Wings of Angels, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping abuse survivors escape – named in honor of those who didn’t survive domestic violence.”
